Sandberg Wireless G54 Router allows you to share a broadband connection and local area network connection using both wireless and wired connections. The integrated access point gives you access to computers with wireless network access, and the integrated 4-port switch allows you to connect network devices and computers using network cables. The Sandberg Wireless G54 Router is easy to configure thanks to its user-friendly web interface. Its features include a range of security settings that you can configure to prevent uninvited guests. The router is compliant with the 802.11g standard, giving speeds of up to 54 Mbit/s, and of course is also compatible with 802.11b devices. The router works with ADSL, xDSL, FWA and cable modem connections that support one of the four protocols Ethernet, PPPoE, PPTP or L2TP. Your Internet service provider can tell you whether your Internet connection is using one of these four standards, enabling you to share the connection.
